Weekly Vehicle Rental Agreement

This is the standard Weekly Vehicle Rental Agreement. When you rent a specific vehicle, your name, the vehicle, the exact weekly rate, and the deposit are filled in — and you review and sign it before your rental begins. The figures shown here are representative.
1. Parties and vehicle
This agreement is between Clock In Car Rentals LLC ("we," "us"), a Maryland limited liability company, and the renter ("you," "the renter"). It covers the rental of the the vehicle you select ("the vehicle").
2. Weekly rate and term
The rental runs week to week. The rate is $400 per week, charged automatically to your payment method on file on the same day each week. The rental renews each week until you or we end it under Section 8.
3. Lock-in fee
A $50 lock-in fee reserves the vehicle while we finalize your rental. The lock-in fee is applied directly toward your first week's rent — it is not an additional charge. We do not collect a separate security deposit.
4. Insurance and what's included
Each rental includes use of the vehicle, routine maintenance (oil changes, tires, brakes), and local support. Insurance is not included. You must carry and maintain your own active auto insurance for the full rental period, appropriate for how you use the vehicle — including rideshare or delivery use, where applicable — and provide current proof of coverage at pickup and on request.
5. Using the vehicle
You may use the vehicle for rideshare, delivery, courier, and personal driving. Only you may drive it. You may not sublease it, use it for illegal activity, drive it outside the United States, or operate it under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The vehicle has GPS tracking.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for fuel, tolls, parking, traffic citations, and keeping the vehicle clean and in safe operating condition. Report any accident, damage, or mechanical issue to us immediately. You must return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel it had at pickup.
7. Payment and late fees
Weekly rent of $400 is due every Monday by 5:00 PM and is charged automatically to the payment method on file. If a payment fails, we will attempt to recharge your card. Rent that remains unpaid may incur a late fee and may result in the rental being paused or ended and the vehicle recovered.
8. Ending the rental
You may end the rental at any time with 7 days' written notice and by returning the vehicle. We may end the rental for non-payment, unsafe use, or breach of this agreement. On return, weekly billing stops; any unpaid rent, damage, or fees may be charged to the payment method on file.
9. Liability and governing law
You are responsible for damage or loss caused by your use of the vehicle beyond what insurance covers. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. By signing, you confirm the information in your application is accurate and that you have read and agree to these terms.
