1. Accepting these Terms

By accessing or using the site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. Who can use the site

The site is intended for prospective and current renters in our service area. To rent a vehicle you must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid U.S. driver’s license, and meet our rental requirements. You are responsible for making sure your use of the site is lawful where you are.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate, complete information when you create an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

4. Applications and screening

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. We review applications at our discretion based on driving history, documentation, and fit.

By submitting an application, you confirm that the information and documents you provide are accurate and belong to you, and you authorize Clock In to obtain background checks and motor vehicle records as part of our review.

5. The site is not a rental

Using the site and submitting an application do not create a rental or any obligation for us to rent you a vehicle. Any rental is governed by a separate Weekly Vehicle Rental Agreement, which you review and sign before a rental begins. If anything in these Terms conflicts with the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement controls for that rental.

6. Payments

The refundable deposit and weekly rent are processed through our third-party payment processor. By completing checkout, you authorize the deposit and first week’s charge and the recurring weekly charge for your rental. Billing details, including how the rental ends, are set out in the Rental Agreement.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site — including attempting to breach its security, interfere with its operation, submit false or misleading information, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

8. Intellectual property

The site, its content, and its branding are owned by Clock In or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse them without our written permission.

9. Disclaimers

The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Your use of the site is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clock In is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the Rental Agreement or rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Clock In harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of another.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the site or these Terms will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Maryland.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
